Tata Nexon CNG: Engine Specifications
The Nexon CNG is equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering a power output of 100hp and 170Nm of peak torque in CNG mode. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, with the option of an Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT). It also boasts the first-ever twin-tank setup in India’s CNG segment, which optimizes space and increases fuel capacity.
Additionally, the Nexon CNG is the first vehicle in India with a turbocharged petrol engine mated to a CNG system, giving it an edge over competitors in terms of performance and fuel efficiency.
